Podcast: Competitive Erotic Fan Fiction

I’m not usually one for erotic fan fiction, but this show is quite different. “Competitive Erotic Fan Fiction” is always performed in front of a live audience and draws suggestions from them. All are improvised and amazingly funny. One of the most underrated podcasts ever.

Podcast premise

This podcast is unique and super funny. The audience submits ideas for stories; usually, the most ridiculous premises possible, and the host picks 2 for each guest. The guest can hear the first one and go with it, or if they pick the second one, the public votes in the one they want to hear. Then they have a few minutes to come up with a story that is usually sexual in nature.

Funny, entertaining, but consider yourself warned if this is not your kind of humor.

Obviously, don’t let kids listen to this show. It’s super vulgar but hilarious if you’re into this kind of joke.

Why do I like listening to it?

I like to listen to shows like this to relax when I go for walks after work or driving. Comedy is a wonderful elixir against stress, and I like this podcast a lot for it.

All of this live and improvised in front of an audience makes it, in my opinion, quite hard (no pun intended) to come up with funny material.

Although the backlog is huge, there isn’t a new episode since 2017. It’s a pity, but I understand that getting sponsors for this kind of show is difficult. I’m sure that if Bryan Cook created some fan page, people would be happy to sponsor the show. I would be one of them, at least.

Note:

I tried, but I can’t find an official website or the author’s Twitter account. If someone knows there to fin them, please let me know. I would want to feature this as most as possible.
