I like doing these posts not because they bring people to the site (it's never the point), but because they remind me that people around the world celebrate the holidays in different ways.
This year I decided to do something different with the image. I've always used Christmas themed images—presents, snow, cozy fireplaces—but that misses half the globe where the holidays look completely different. For our friends in the southern hemisphere enjoying warm beaches and sunshine, this post goes out to all of you lucky ones :).
I've been writing these holiday posts for a few years now (2019, 2020, 2021 and 2024), and it's always interesting to look back and see how much has changed. I'll do my usual "year in review" post and detail things, but overall I'm happy I'm still here working independently and working on posts that, I know, are helping people. If you have a specific need that you need help, you can always send me an email and I'll be happy to help.
To everyone celebrating Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, or any other holiday this season—wishing you good health and safety.
And to those in war zones—my thoughts are with you. Please stay safe. I really hope these senseless wars end as soon as possible. No one deserves this much suffering.
Happy holidays everyone, and thank you for everything!
