Podcast: Stacktrace

If you’re a developer and a fan of Apple, Stacktrace is the show for you. There are many shows about Apple, but a few good ones dive deep into Apple’s news from a developer’s perspective, especially Swift and the whole Apple developer ecosystem. It’s good to learn about the impacts of the decisions that Apple makes on developers, and this show makes it fun and exciting.

Podcast premise

John Sundell and Guilherme Rambo are two developers who look at the news from the App Store and the development of apps. Rambo is also known for a few discoveries that Apple wanted to keep secret by digging into the site and published materials and finding clues to the next releases and names. At the same time, Sundell has a fantastic website and podcast for everything related to development.

Why do I like listening to it?

I always learn something. I dabble in Swift development (don’t have anything published yet 😉), and it’s an excellent way to keep informed about the latest in Swift in the short periods I have, like running or my daily commute. The show is much more entertaining than reading articles, so give it a listen.

Where you can find it

You can download all Stacktrace episodes from the start of the show, but I would recommend starting from the most recent one and go back and listen to old episodes if you’re interested. Since the show discusses the current news, it’s quite time-sensitive, so old episodes will teach you something, but you’ll also have information that not up to date.
