Expressions and Templates

Expressions are the small pieces of logic that give your flows real power, and templates are the shortcuts that save you from building everything from scratch. In this area I bring the two together. You will find a growing library of the most common expressions I use in Power Automate, explained in plain language so you understand not just what to paste but why it works. Some of these tackle the awkward problems that trip everyone up, like parsing Excel serial dates into something readable, pulling specific parts out of a URL, or reshaping data so the next action can actually use it. Alongside the expressions, I share ready-to-import templates. These are complete little building blocks you can drop straight into your own flows, covering tricky topics such as file conversion, data parsing, and other patterns that come up again and again in real automation work.
