Category: OneDrive for Business

Microsoft OneDrive started humbly a few years ago, but now it’s completely unrecognizable. I started using it a few years ago, but the other more featured rich apps took away all their customers. But all changed with two significant changes. The first has SharePoint as its backend, giving it a rich feature set. Another creating OneDrive for Business. Having 1Tb of space but a lousy app to sync the data is a waste of space. But I’ve thrown at it a considerable amount of files with zero issues in synchronization. Data synchronization is super hard, but OneDrive for Business deals with that wonderfully. It even works great on the Mac, where it replaced, for me, Mac’s iCloud Drive.
I’ll be talking here about OneDrive for Business. OneDrive has some small differences, so I’ll consider them separate when it makes sense. If you want articles related to OneDrive, please check here.
