Opinion
Opinion is my space to step back from the how-to and talk about the why. These are the pieces where I share a point of view, sometimes a slightly contrarian one, on how we build software and work with technology. You'll find articles like just read the code, and what to do when you screw up, which is really about handling mistakes with a bit of grace. I try to write these the way I'd talk about them with a colleague, grounded in real situations rather than abstract theory. You won't agree with everything here, and that's exactly the point. My hope is that a good opinion piece gives you something to push against, a fresh angle that helps you sharpen your own thinking. Topics range across automation, the Microsoft ecosystem, developer habits, and the way our industry keeps reinventing itself.
