N8N Node Reference

Nodes are the building blocks of every N8N workflow, and this reference is my deep dive into the ones that do the real work. When you are wiring up an automation, the difference between something that runs smoothly and something that quietly breaks usually comes down to how well you understand the node in front of you. That is the gap I want to fill here. For each node I plan to explain what it actually does, how to configure its inputs and outputs, and the settings that matter most in practice. I will walk through the sensible defaults, the options that are easy to misread, and the small choices that have an outsized effect on how your workflow behaves. Just as important, I will be clear about limitations, the quirks and edge cases you only discover after using a node in a live workflow.
