Privacy has moved from a niche worry to a topic almost everyone thinks about, and this area is where I try to make sense of it with you. Data is now one of the most valuable things a company can hold, which means many work hard to collect as much of yours as possible. Here you find articles, tips, and practical fixes to help you stay informed and in control. I cover the unsettling stories, like Apple contractors hearing confidential Siri recordings and the Superhuman email tracking scandal, alongside everyday defenses such as turning off revealing notification previews and controlling your privacy while browsing. There are hands-on guides too, from setting up two-factor authentication to understanding why we ignore password best practices. I also touch on bigger threats, like government-backed attackers, and personal choices, such as why I keep this site free of ads.
